VIC-42

I feel kinda silly even asking, but it doesn't seem the subject has come up here 
yet, and I'd really like to hear some of your thoughts, so....

For those unaware, I'm referring to the MOS "VIC-42" (no model number) chips 
dated 1983, production casing (Not ceramic, No gold legs), made in Korea, that 
are being sold on eBay and chatted about online and at youtube.

Any opinions?

I was pretty much in the 'yea, it's fake' camp until I saw the video of the guy 
doing the alcohol scrub test on the label, which has made me wonder.
