Dear members of CBM-Hackers, I'd like to hear about the members favorite schemes for transferring between a 128D and either an 060 Amiga, or a 800mhz P3 PC. The C128D is about 10 feet away from the other two, and so typically the cables are also long. The files I need to transfer tend to the meg-size (being archives principally), so schemes that only accept 1541 drives, or are only "loaders" won't work for me. Is anyone else in the same boat as I am? If so, what transfer cable scheme do you use? Most schemes have failed for me due to the destination machines (the PC and Amiga) being too fast, or the cable too long, or they are LOADER-only systems, or they just don't work in Windows 98, or whatever. The best I've found is prlink with my Amiga. However, my Amiga is even too fast for it, causing frequent transfer failures. <Sigh> Thanks for any advice, Bo Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list
