Re: Myths or Fact?

The confusion was caused by an incorrect address in the original message.
Not having a correct description of the line involved, I was forced to
guess at what was intended.

Jim is correct that I still do not believe that there is a problem here.
Just because a piece of equipment fails, does not mean that the reason
given is correct.

It has also been suggested that the Commodore engineers may have lied
when they told me that there was no possible poke that could damage a PET.
Since they are not present here to defend themselves, I will do the best I
can. I dealt with Commodore and their engineers for a number of years,
and not once have I found what they said to be false. Unfortunately, I
cannot say the same for the sales department, but we expext a certain
amount of exageration from the sales department.

I choose to observe the state motto of Missouri, "show me". Until
actually demonstrated, I do not believe.
