Hallo Marko,

Ohhhh, but this is a part of the drive system itself. The previous message
sounded like it was a board between the mainboard of the computer computer
and the drive system.

Anyway, I had three broken 8296D and managed to end up with two working
ones. I needed the rome desperately so the empty case went to a friend who
wanted one to build a PC inside. The drives were thrown away as they were
really bad. So I still have the mainboard (but no PLAs) and the electronics
of the drive. It works once you have a new 6530 for it; I tested it using a
6530 of 8250-LP. This one is available for your friend.

FYI: I needed the room for a PET64. OK, neither working and nor in a mint
condition but as I got it for free, I don't care :)
