Hallo Marko,

I have several 8050 diskettes with Wordcraft. So yesterday I decided to take
some time to tranfer them to my PC using 8250 -> 4040 -> 1541 -> SC.

For the 8250 -> 4040 route I wanted to use the "unit to unit" PRG that you
can find on a lot of C= drive floppies. Knowing that I was going to use
device 8 drive 0, device 9 drive 0 and wanted to copy all files, I changed
the PRG accordingly. Disaster. It took me quite some time to find out that
there was a SYS in the program that got mixed up by my changes.
Next problem was the fact that the disk contained more files (read: blocks)
then the 664 a 4040 floppy could contain. This meant I had to pick them by
hand and that was undoable as well for that moment.

The fastes way I can help you is to back-up the floppies and send them to
you. That is, do you have a 1001 or 8250?
