I have looked at Outlook Express, it does not look like it will send
anything but HTML. There may be a way around this.
First: set your font to courier to be compatible with most other mail
software.
When your message is ready to send (either original message or reply),
save it as a text file:
file
save as
select type txt
Now go back to the message you are going to send and attach the text file:
import
attach file
You will now have both a HTML and txt version when you send the message.
