I have no AR (I've always used FC3) so I can't confirm if the problem is
a well known symptom or not.
However: _If_ it becomes clear that it's the EPROM to blame _and_
someone can provde me with the AR6 EPROM dump _and_ noone else can send
you a copy in the next 2 weeks (until I get home to find & burn the
chip), I'll help you with sending one.
