Sure, so it would seem to achieve what you want and actually be
compatible. Which means that someone other than you might actually want
it. You might want to squeeze in the jiffydos speed code though

There are commercial games that fast loads a basic program which
displays the loading screen. Of course, you won't be loading anything
from tape if the code is gone. A bank switching cartridge might be a
better option, which would keep tape support in.
