Does anyone have a process for converting actual tone and timing output
from a sequencer into a file, which could then be converted to SID, at
least the basics of it?

I realize why it would be tough to do, but I was wondering if there was any
kind of hardware that was made for such a task, or someone has worked
through and documented the process.

I ask because I have an old Triadex MUSE that kicks out some serious
patterns that would be perfect for SID chip bending or as a game background
soundtrack

Thanks
