Wow.  Lucky you!  That must be fun to play with!

I know there are some audio to midi converters out there...while I can't
vie for them personally.  that would, in theory, get the notes and the
timing into a MIDI file.  As far as the tone, I don't know of any sort of
thing that would do it automatically... fortunately tone generation on the
Triadex MUSE is so basic that it should be simple enough to easily program
the SID's tone close enough for horseshoes or hand grenades.  (binary
output to DAC would imply a pulse/square wave)

This is true, as if it had typical CV output, there are so many great
converters to MIDI.
