If you or anyone else is interested, I can send a copy of one of the
programs.  It was quite difficult to get the whole software to run on
VICE: true 8050 drive emulation has to be enabled, or otherwise
(apparently due to some bugs in the disk and/or relative file handling of
VICE) the program fails.
