I'm in Canada (110V, 60Hz) and I've successfully used an upconverting power adapter to plug in 220V 8032-SK PETs or 8250LP's without any issues. I never checked to see if the clock was accurate though. The only issue I had was with one 8296D, where the screen was shifted to the left and I couldn't read the first half-dozen characters. A simple poke to shift the screen fixed that.
