You're reducing the power from as much as ~300ma to ~25ma and that's still
not enough for you?

Eh? Say what? AFAIK, with /CE low the time it takes to get valid data is
tOE, e.g. 50ns vs. 200ns in a -200 'C256 (not that it matters at 1MHz).

Anyway, I've successfully used Jim's adapters (with wired-ANDs when
necessary) in various different 6502 machines without issues and I love 'em.
