Yeah, I have actually meant "seek error" or such... I seem
to recall that when one of my old HDD's died, the shopkeeper
used to refer to its fault as a "seek error" as it did spin
up after power-on but would not seek tracks/sectors further
(so, the head got actually stuck).
Was that what Spiro meant?
