The 2040 DOS is included in VICE, as I "downloaded" it from a german 3040
dual disk drive (that had the 670 blocks free) years ago. Unfortunately
that was the school's 3040, and I could not open it to check the ROM version,
nor did I have the knowledge then to download the controller ROM
(if that is possible after all, but I would think so if there already is
an execute code for the controller.)
