There is a more expanded version of that file, somewhere, that contains the complete 8296 reference manual that I typed in. I don't know why it isn't on funet - I thought it was at one time. (The reference manual explains some of the jumpers - very useful. I turned some of the "missing" 32K RAM into "EPROMS") > And don't tell me about PETdoc in the VICE package, I wrote parts > of it :-)) (And I'm probably going to overhaul it after I got some > deeper insight to this 8296 beast) A 8296 emulator would be very nice! It would not be too hard to make 2001, 3001, 40xx and 80xx versions too - there are only small hardware differences visible from software, after all (6545 or not, 1K or 2K of screen memory, where the number of ghost images varies per model, or something like that) > Thanks > Andre -Olaf. -- ___ Olaf 'Rhialto' Seibert rhialto(at)mbfys-dot-kun.nl "I would be dead in \X/ a week if I didn't do /something/.
