While we're at the C2N/1530 and like.. on some (all?) models there is an
internal card edge connector. Many years ago I read a user question in a
magazine asking what it was for. The editor said they didn't know, but
might try to find out. Probably it was for internal testing. Does anyone
here know if it has any use (daisy-chaining tape decks? :-)

On the web page http://www.zimmers.net/cbmpics/dtapes.html there are
pictures of different models. I own one of the first style, and several
(only one working) of the third and fourth style. I think I've seen the
edge connector in all but the very first ones?
