Well, the PrepCard utility should let you choose between SRAM or DRAM
memory, I don't think it is limited to use only SRAM-based cards. PrepCard
also has an option for choosing the memory speed and for setting the PCMCIA
memory as RAM or disk, but I really don't know how it works, since I never
tried it (no PCMCIA memory cards, unfortunately). Probably, after "prepping"
the card as a disk, you will only have to format it, since it uses
"carddisk.device" and not the usual scsi.device (it should appear as CC0:
drive).
