Andreas Boose was a major contributor to Christian Bauer's article.
He made many measurements and experiments in 1994, and there was a lively
discussion on this in one of the German Z-Netz newsgroups around 1994 or
1995.

If you fill the 16kB VIC bank with an easily recognizeable pattern, it
shouldn't be too hard to figure it out.  It's better to use banks 1 or 3,
because the character generator ROM is not mapped in those banks.
