Microchip INC makes a PIC with a usb "guest" (I dont know the term) port on
it.  Such a device can be used to send packets of information to an IEC bus
hosting one or more CBM devices. ;-)

I'm pretty certain Microchip isnt the only company making USB enabled
microcontrollers while I'm mentioning things.  I just remeber my copy of
PicBASIC having usb stuffs for some of its PICs.
