Anyone willing to use vintage Commodore hardware might as well invest
some money in a PCI based parallel port controller card. They are still
available and probably is the way X*1541 cables will connect to new
computers in the near future. Or maybe a Catweasel Mk 3 if you don't
have a suitable X*1541 cable already?
