Adding a small heatsink, perhaps salvaged from an old video card or part
of a DIMM heatsink kit, stuck in place with heat-sink epoxy might be a
good idea here.  Modifying the Commodore to have a small exhaust fan
might also mitigate the heat problem, especially the higher temperatures
interfering with the operation of other chips on the mainboard.
