As probably already read, Nick reminded me of another idea. But I still
prefer the emulator for the reason Nick mentioned as well: time. Sending up
to 32 KB over the IEC bus will cost time. Not only the amount of data costs
time but also the fact that you only can send ?? bytes at a time.

Hmmm, idea: has someone a "fastloader" laying around that permits me to M-W
32 KB of data in a user-friendly and very fast way?
