Yep, that's true. I should have mentioned. The warming up behaviour
itself rather points towards the TED.
I guess it is easy to try: if you put an ice-cube in a bottle-cap onto
the top of the TED while the computer is in operation (Bil Herd's (?)
trick with the VDC prototype ;-) ), and the problem doesn't come up,
then it's a bad TED...
