It could have been something similar. There was a mail loop between two
mail servers of a subscriber at cmg.nl, and at least one SMTP server there
is running Microsoft software. The cbm-hackers mailing list is 100%
Microsoft free, operated with Majordomo and Sendmail under a Unix system.
I hope that there won't be (m)any more bounces today, now that Per removed
the offending address from the list. I only got one or two bounces before
I left work yesterdaty, and actually suspected the system Ruud's employer
uses. However, the Received: headers indicated the real culprit, who has
not otherwise posted anything to the list.
