The problem is, it works both ways: other productive members of the
list who don't like the nature of the J-board threads may be inclined
to leave.  If it came to that, would you rather lose just Jeri or
several long-time contributers?

Of course, it doesn't have to come to that: a separate list for
J-board suggestions seems reasonable.  In fact, if Jeri were to post
details here instead of requests for comments, I bet the old-timers
would be content (though I got the impression she was at least waiting 
for the expo before releasing details).

Having said all that: Jeri, love the idea, glad someone finally went
ahead and implemented it.  Suggestion: single-IC models of other CBM
machines :)
