Personally I see software emulators as a useful development tool,
and a much saner way to keep up with 'current events' than all the
hassle of transferring disk images over a slow serial link
and decrunching them on 20yo floppy drives!

Of course, anything that doesn't work on a real c64 is not
a real c64 demo :-)
