Have the ringmaster keep a list of sites indexed via number in a plain text
file.  Then, all you have to do is http://ringmaster/ring.cgi?id=5&act=next

id is your index in the file (assigned by the ring master), and act is what
to do (next, prev, ring homepage, list sites, next5, prev5, whatever).
