I've seen the schematic, this is a good point, they correctly used
phi2's high phase this time,
it means using phi1's low phase wasn't such a wise choice after all :)
Maybe they've left the same NOP macro just for laziness?
I think the definitive answers can be had by just recompiling without
the NOPs and check
what happens (after making sure the schematics agree with the actual circuit).
