Now I understand!

I ignored E800-EFFF because the PET2001 has no ROM there!!!
But you placed 3F bytes code at EF00.

I think you wanted to modify as small as possible in the original rom and
not to change any jump points.
But maybe I find a place in F000-F7FF to place your additional code and to
throw out something other?

I just burned the editor with the vice-patch (e000-efff) in a 2532 and
placed it in the edit socket H3.
But this doesn’t worked – The cursor does not blink – and Im not able to
input anything ….??? - but Why???
A 2532 is the same as a 2316 in the H3 socket.
selectE goes to CS (20) (low active)
A11 goes to A11 of the 2532

So I think I have a 4k edit rom instead 2k.

My 2816 (like 2716) works great in the H4 socket (F000-F7FF)

Any Ideas why the 2532 doesn’t work?
