Guru ROM question

I've placed myself in a somewhat puzzling situation regarding the Guru ROM. I once had a few GVP G-Force Combo boards and bought the famous Ralph Babel's firmware for them. Now I got a dude from the States that wanted the ROM. I currently have only one board left and one I sold with the said ROM, one without. So one was lying around and I sold (actually traded) it. Now, the problem is that the buyer says that there should be some kind of hardware adapter accompanying the ROM. In fact he seems to have a good point because the pictures here:

http://www.bigbookofamigahardware.com/bboah/product.aspx?id=1765

show it clearly placed on an adapter. Heck, even the pictures on the manual show it with the adapter. I on the other hand can't recall ever using/needing any adapter for any of the boards I had. I still have one board where I could test it but currently don't have a complete Amiga machine to put it into.

Does anyone know more of the Guru ROM specs and the mysterious adapter?
