Maybe it would be an idea to build a complete "CBM-II 2.0" (with the
proposed 6509 replacement) with for example color integrated?

(Maybe even something that can take both VIC-II and 6*45 CRTC :) )

Btw, for some reasons your links is only visible in the HTML version of
your mails. I have my mail client set to display the plain text version
first if there are multiple versions, so I didn't see the link
immediately.
