Being pedantic but AFAIK Jay didn't design pokey, at least he wasn't on 
the patent application.

I'm not sure they did prototype pokey.

1. I find it hard to believe they put it in to production after hearing 
how bad it sounded.

2. The wirewrap boards for Amiga were used to generate funding, which 
atari didn't need to do.
