Hm, if in KiCad you can't gradually evolve boards, it's a no go for me I'm 
afraid.

I am regularly improving schematics, which then feeds into updated boards. 
I can't afford time wise to re-create the board every time, possibly 
introduction more (layout) bugs again. It's even sometimes that schematics 
changes come from things I see when laying out the board, like switch gates 
on a chip. A layout tool that doesn't support this process is for one offs 
only and not for larger project I would say.
How does KiCad support this incremental approach?
