Quite possible, but it wasn't like once the cases with hooks came, there 
were no more those with screws. Quite the opposite. Lots of 
"with-screws" still arrived after I saw the first "screwless" one. My 
guess is that they were just produced in another location. Yes, they 
should be cheaper and were definitely much faster to assemble.
