all disks are protected, and you will need the g64 images to make them work in 
modern emulators. there even exist a couple of cracks from a couple different 
sceners (i am also interested in those, btw... :)) besides this its of course 
a good way to have these and check other d64 images against them, that way its 
much easier to spot broken and/or otherwise modified images (and it also 
helped a bit to work out what the copy protection is about)
