That was my first thought as well. But GROUND goes to pin 2, not 
pin 8. OK, one could still make a cable that connects the various 
digital pins of the joystick to the digital ones of this connector. 

But what goes to what ??? And the next question: how is the whole 
to be operated, what commands etc. ???

I could disassemble the ROM and analyse it but to be honest, I 
don't think that it will be worth the trouble at all. If I really 
need something to be printed on a Centronics printer, there are 
enough other possibilities: I have several IEC-Centronics 
convertors, programs that turn the Userport into a Centronics port 
and I thougt SpeedDOS, JiffyDOS and/or Exos V3 support Centronics 
over the Userport as well ???

I will put it in the drawer "unknown hardware".
