Since an adapter already needs an ISA slot, adding a C64 slot to plug in a
standard REU doesn't seem unreasonable. This would leave $DExx for the ISA
interface. The REC is socketed in most REUs so if you really wanted to you
could take it out to put on another board, but since you need the REU RAM
as well you might as well just use a standard REU.
