This is also a very familiar (and annoying) phenomenon on the newer C64
and C128 VIC-II chips. Until I discovered these sparks on my C16 I
always thought they introduced this with the C128, but now it seems the
new line of VIC-II chips is based on TED technology? Eeeek!
