At the recent WoC in Toronto, I was trying to help someone with an 8050
get it running. He had a working 8250 sitting next to it, and could
swap the roms from the 8250 and make it work, so we knew the ROMs were
the issue.

Noting that the ROMs were 2364, he got a simple passive 2364 Adapter,
and we burned an EPROM with the proper ROM code. No dice. I looked at
the (somewhat fuzzy) schematics online, and it looked like the CS lines
on the 8050 ROMs werfe active hi. Thus, I tried an adapter with an
active HI to active LO converter, but again no dice.

I was wondering if anyone else has successfully put 2764 EPROMs into an
8050/8250 unit, and what was required.

Jim
