After looking up some pinouts, I just realized the mini-DIN doesn't have any 
POTX or POTY for paddles etc. I understand paddles can be added with a 
custom interface to the userport, but if the original hardware wouldn't 
support them it might've been yet another reason why the switch to mini-DIN: 
not just for space, static electricty or cost reasons, but so people 
wouldn't get upset when their Commodore branded paddles wouldn't be usable.
