I should have a program laying around that I used to create D82 and D80
images using a 8250 and a PC. But as that PC emulated another 8250, I
don't see why it cannot be used between two real devices.

But I would prefer Olaf's suggestion: using a direct copy between two
devices because (I think that) it is faster. But I used the indirect way
for the simple reason it was much easier to program.
