In my opinion, hand-written SVG looks much better than the bitmap output 
from Eagle. Sure, it is some trouble to build up a symbol library, but 
it is not too much effort for small circuits, and you get full control 
of the appearance in return. :-) Recently, I learned some SVG and 
sketched a few diagrams:

Next, I might draw a circuit board with hand-written SVG :-) Just 
kidding, I like the ERC and DRC of Eagle.
