Hello Martin, I don't know if the original documentation exists online 
anywhere but there is a good description, including the dongle 
connections, on page 83-85 of "The Pet Revealed", which can be found on 
bombjack. http://www.bombjack.org/commodore/books/pdf/The_Pet_Revealed.zip

I compared my ones with those documented and they agree apart from one 
connection on the user port. The PET revealed says 5-11 is linked 
whereas mine has 5-E-11 linked. I haven't tried it in a while but mine 
is the original commodore part.
