I understood that it was meant as an expansion for the ZoomFloppy. If it
is, it isn't as simple as soldering a connector to the edge, you would
get mirrored connections.

Hmmm, at a second thought: if you wire all connections one-to-one then
it can be used in both ways. Please have a look at this idea to see if I
am correct.
