Hm... The 8501R1 from 1984 I have don't feel so hot though.. At least 
not compared to a 6569 or 6510... I put a heatsink on them anyway, just 
to be sure.

The newest 8501 I have is a 8501R4 from 4986. Yes, R4. This one is not 
in use yet as long as I have others.
