Hallo Didier,

Hmm weird, my yesterdays email isn't on the list (yet ?).

Again: I hope you are known with the 2364 -> 2764 convertor that enables
you to use a 2764 EPROM instead of the original 2364? Now you have to do
the same but in the opposite direction. On the PCB you'll find some
litle holes marked with numbers for the extra needed address lines plus
one marked "WE". For the 23256 ROM-EL we only need "16", "18" and "WE",
you have to solder some jumper pins in them. Be aware, the holes don't
have the normal 0.1 inch spacing; I did it by taking a piece of the
keyboard connector of a scrapped C64 and bending the pins a bit.

Now take a 28 pins Textool socket and solder it on a 32 pin IC socket. I
sawed a piece off from the contra connector of the keyboard connector.
The wire for address line 16 goes to pin 2, WE goes to 31 and 18 goes to
1. Pin 30 remains unconnected. two weird things:
- my programmer complained about the fact that pin 30 is not connected.
But the datasheets also say it is NC ???? Fortunately I can overule
that.
- Don't ask me why I connected "18" to pin 1 as this one is needed for
resetting the AT49F001 (read the datasheets). Maybe a mistake but it
works.

With the 2364 version I have a problem: rewring the address lines wasn't
a problem but the 2364 only has one CS but the AT49F001 has a CE and an
OE. How to fool the programmer in an easy way without using an OR gate?
