Pasi, I'd love to know what the chip numbers and date codes are on these 
VIC-Is that exhibit the effect. I've never encountered it on any of my 
VIC-Is, but on my VIC-IIs it seems to correlate exactly with the 6569R4, 
6569R5 and 8565R2.
