Hallo Ethan,

Yep, I found other nice stuff as well!

Of course the work hasn't finished yet.

I have two non-working drives. Neither 6502-board, SASI-board nor
HDD work. But I have hope to get (one of) the 6502-boards to work.
Second step: emulating the SASI bus using a LPT port. Following
steps (not in that order):
- microcontroller + IDE-disk
- bigger hard disk up to 16 MB
- support of partitions
In case of the last two steps I can use the experience gained with
my 1541IDE project. That triggered a thought chain reaction. Not
that familiar with microcontrollers anymore (8031, 8051, 80552 etc.
more then 10 years ago), I just got the idea of using a obselete
1541 board to replace the original SASI board.

We'll see.
