I recently grabbed this from Yahoo Auction Japan:

(I've been looking looking for some Japanese PET software in the hopes that when loaded it displays Japanese text and this could help validate wether I have made my Japanese PET character ROM file correctly)

I haven't tested the unit as I don't yet have a working PET machine, however the first thing I did was to make a .wav file of the tape contents. Listening to the audio it seems to have a bit of warble, undeterred I downloaded the wav-prg program and attempted to convert the .wav to a .prg file so I can load it into an emulator (Xpet). Unfortunately I have not been able to verify if the conversion works as and I'm not sure what the correct settings are for the wav-prg program are.

Anyway, if anyone is interested in having a looksy and maybe give me some advice, I have uploaded the the original .wav files (actually 4 different .wav files, recorded at slightly different settings) and the two .prg files that were generated. Please look under the Commodore PET folder here:
